Who Wrote That Book Wednesday: Rachael Wade

A stand-alone contemporary romance from the author of THE REPLACEMENT.

Every woman in my life is supposed to be like Othello Station – a last stop. Unless they know how to keep their distance. I’ve managed to maintain a routine, one that works for me and one I have no intention of ever changing. But this dove came along. Soft and delicate, tainting my thoughts. I can think of twenty different ways to get rid of her. I need this dove to take flight.

But she won’t fly away.

She won’t release me from her cage.

Her wings ensnare me.

And now I want to get off this train. I wish I never boarded this ride. Because I’m about to crash and take this dove with me. But sometimes you can’t stop the crash. Sometimes you just have to hang on and let the flames ignite. Let the fire burn.

Sometimes, the fire is what saves you.

Author Interview:

-How do get ideas for your books?
I try almost everything I write about, or at least visit the places I write about or talk to people who have done what I'm writing about. Most all of my work is based on real life experience in some way, even when I write paranormal or fantasy. I draw from my muses.

-Who is THE ONE Author that makes you fangirl?
Jennifer L. Armentrout. Everytime. Always. She's a rock star because she's insanely successful AND she's genuinely humble. That's a rare combination nowadays.

-What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?

Learn to speak French, travel abroad, write (and publish) countless novels. I'm half-way there....

-What is your favorite genre of music to listen to?

I love everything, especially folk rock. Brandi Carlile, Nirvana, and Lana Del Rey are my absolute favorites.

-If you had to play a theme song each morning what would it be?

Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve.
