Review: The Other Brother by Meghan Quinn

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn’t well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me.

There was only one thing to do; pack up and head back to my hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job, a quaint house to rent, my boyfriend was working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place was only miles away. Life was good.

Until I met my neighbor.

It's been three years since I'd seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I’m tempted, I’m drawn toward him, I’m completely and utterly unaware that I’m dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

Once again, another one of Meghan Quinn's sexy alpha book-men has bamboozled their way into my heart. It's quite alright, I wouldn't have it any other way, really. Oh, Smalls... *le freaking sigh!*

Whenever I see the word Binghamton I get a flutter in my chest and a smile on my face. It always feels like I'm going home, whisked away to that happy place known for alpha men and a love so swoonful; just the flip of a page away. I've grown quite fond of this town and series of standalones through it's motley crew of characters, and lessons of the heart.

The Other Brother will forever own a piece of my heart. I've been waiting for Aaron a.k.a. Smalls story for quite a while and HOT dayum it was well worth the wait! As always, Meghan Quinn's brand of comedic relief through heartfelt stories is intricately infused throughout her latest work. The sweet with the salty angst and heartbreaking moments I've come to love have a way of balancing perfectly while making the reader laugh their butt off while shedding a few tears along the way. I'm not sure how she continues to do it book after book, but I'm not complaining one little bit; all the feels and emotions that kill me while giving me the best book highs... and worst hangovers.

This is a story of soul mates being torn apart, hearts broken, a man's spirit shattered, broken all because of... the other brother. You think you know what kind of book you're going to be diving into, but you have no clue. This book is just all sorts of EPIC. A twist on a second chance romance like none I've read before! What a reading adventure and experience this was for the heart, mind, and soul. Laughter and tears and maybe a little cover licking and humping because, well, HELLO... THAT COVER THOUGH!!! A top read of 2017!!

Review: Twisted Twosome by Meghan Quinn

Racer McKay is a broody bastard.

From the moment I met him, he’s been rude, irritable, and unbearable. And worse? He's broke.

A contractor working to remodel my parents pool house for extra cash, he stomps around in those clunky construction boots with his tool belt wrapped around his narrow waist, and a chip on his shoulder.

Racer McKay is also infuriatingly . . . sexy as hell. I want to take that pencil tucked behind his ear, and draw lazy lines slowly up and down his body all the while wanting to strangle him at the same time.

We try to stay out of each other’s way . . . that is until I have no other option but to ask for his help.

But what I don’t realize is he needs me just as much as I need him. I have money he’s desperate for, and he holds the key to making my dreams come true.

Our pranks turn from sarcastic banter, to sexual tension and lust-filled glances. Bickering matches quickly morph into slow burn moments. We’re hot, we’re cold. We push and pull. I need him, I don’t want him. We’re on the verge of combusting with an agreement dangling dangerously between us. Neither one of us can afford to lose one another and yet, we’re finding it quite hard to decipher the line that rests between love and hate.

*Twisted Twosome is a stand alone romantic comedy.

5 'I can't imagine she would want me tickling her chin with my dick.' Stars.

It's time to get Twisted! Meghan Quinn returns with another fabulous, highly addictive, laugh out loud until you pee your pants read! Twisted Twosome is on -TVRN Marta level- of LOLs, which is my absolute favourite kind, and let me tell you this book had me in stitches!! Quirky, dirty, a little bit pervy, a whole hella HOT and enough swoon factor to make the ole knickers go *POOF*. It's truly, completely, 100% "ineffable" *wink*

Racer McKay and Georgiana Westbrook, you really can't get more opposite than these two. One comes from a life of refined luxury while the other is struggling to make ends meet. They think it matters in ways that shouldn't, and individually they struggle in ways they shouldn't, ways that don't 'ruin' them as a person. GD the struggle is real with these two lol. What I love about Meghan Quinn's works is that she has this truly awesome way of infusing her stories to balance the over the top hilarity and real worldliness, so that everything just comes together to mesh so flawsomely.

The sexual tension between them is carnal.
Their attraction is undeniable.
They deny themselves and taunt and torture each other, driving one another to the edge of insanity  OMG
Its such a sweet and hilarious adventure!!

"Staring at my dick, Georgie? If you want to see if that bad, just ask. I'm not opposed to driving with dick out. It's refreshing in a convertible especially. Cocks like feeling the win in their head as well." I tap her quad with my finger. "Here's an idea. We put the top down. I unleash my cock and you push your dress down so your tits are out and I blow down this highway. You never know that total freedom is until you feel the wind in your nipple hair."

From the witty banter, to sexy, flirty, sobering and heartbreaking and breathtaking moments, everything combined ties this story together into a pretty little bow of a Happily Ever After & LOLs making it one of my top fave MQ books EVER and top reads of 2017!

Review: My Best Friend's Ex by Meghan Quinn

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs.

But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate but he’s also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me, my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

(me too, me freaking too!)

Let's just take a moment to *bow down* to Meghan Quinn! This book, you guys! I just can't even right now. Seriously, I'm so completely smitten with this one, and while I'm already a huge fan of Quinn's works, My Best Friend's Ex takes the cake, as in, I have a new fave. In my opinion it's her BEST rom-com release to date! This deserves a few SQUEEEEs because I was in Tom Cruise mode again jumping on the proverbial couch. Yeah, THAT couch!

ALL. THE. FEELS. delivered in equal measure will have your heart pounding, swooning, soaring, breaking, and melting as we head back to Binghamton, New York. Kiss your panties goodbye! This laugh out loud rom-com is bursting with a succulent, torturous, flirty slow burn of epic proportions. GAH! I'm talking butterflies, that swoony, lusty "new love" feeling that takes over your body and emotions. I was floating on cloud 9! I couldn't read it fast enough, heck, I couldn't read it slow enough to drag out all those butterfly inducing feels. It's simply perfection.

I briefly met Tucker Jameson in Co-Wrecker, and I wasn't a huge fan of his BUT let me tell you something, my opinion of him has certainly changed as we delve into his story! He is top notch book boyfriend material. Like swoon til you're all out of swoon to swoon with. He's a genuine guy with the body of a god. I'm talking smoking hot, with a heart of gold and a closet of demons from the past to overcome. He's a broken man. *sad panda*

Emma Marks, the quiet and reserved friend from his past has blossomed into quite the firecracker. After a situation arises that ends up with her moving in with Tucker... well long story short, sparks fly! Sizzle and swoon! As sexual tension mounts, the magnetic attraction, and the internal game of push and pull between these two explodes! And it's out of this world hot! Their is no denying their attraction.

Meghan Quinn delivers a full, well balanced, meal deal book of personal growth with a side of turtlenecks and chocolate hostages in My Bestfriend's Ex.
It's everything I love in a book!
Hands down, a top read of 2017!

Review: Co-Wrecker by Meghan Quinn

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I’d make my coworker fall for me.

I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

You really can't go wrong when it comes to anything Meghan Quinn related. From her heart felt tear jerkers, to her over the top zany, romantic comedies. Her words must be devoured at an ungodly rate. Needless to say, she's one of my go-to authors. Each release somehow surpassing the last, feeding my fictional cravings at an alarming rate lol. Gah!!! Seriously though, Megan Quinn rocks my socks off!

Co-WRECKER is the full literary rom-com meal deal! Chock-full off sweetness, sizzle, swoon, lust, a hot nerd, and a whole slew of other sexy deliciousness that will feed your sweet tooth! I -think- I have a new favourite MQ book *gasp* It's really hard to choose a fave book when it comes to Meghan's works.

'It's cute, seeing her all flustered, but also frustrating. Clearly I affect her, so it wouldn't kill her to give me a little hello, maybe a slap to the ass, or even a little tap to the taint when I scoop ice cream. All men like a gentle taint tap, key word being gentle.'

There are different levels of nerdness and Andrew is of the top shelf variety. He's a total NILF. A nerd I'd like to f... you get the point. Seriously!!!! Total Nilf-ing going on in by head right now. *sigh* I dare you to not fall in love with him!! He's just so darn cute, charming, charismatic with an aire of innocence that is beyond endearing and armed with that cannon cock in his pants, look out ladies! Andrew is in tha house! WOO!

'He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don't let men like him slip through your fingers.;

This is the story of a sexy nerd and a lost girl finding love and themselves when they least expect it.
I became so absorbed in the story I felt as if I was living in their world, going to their parties, participating in titty Tuesdays and indulging in sundae after delicious sundae. It's not often that a romantic comedy infiltrates my mind and keeps me in it's clutches thinking about it long after the last page has been read. Co-WRECKER is solid gold and I wish this story could and would continue on forever! I feel 'homesick' and hungover. THIS BOOK YOU GUYS!!!! I just can't even! It owns a piece of me, and needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend this book!!

Get ready to laugh your ass off!

Please be kind.

5 'Because life is so much bigger.' Stars.

Get your 'feelers' out! Meghan Quinn is coming at us from a completely new direction in Dear Life; a powerful, heartwarming, and poignantly breath taking tale of survival and striving to be the best possible you. This story has the ability to change lives, making you reflect on your own life, goals, well-being, and self worth, to 'prove your existence.'

While Dear Life takes on a more serious tone, it captures the romantic comedy essence that shines so bright from Meghan Quinn's signature style of prose.  I'm so in love with this story-line and it's four principle characters. I just can't even! Showcasing Quinn's god given talent of the written word, it is by far her best work to date, cementing her in stone as a must read author!

'Life isn't some walk in the park where you can make wishes on dandelions. Life is work. Life is a journey of triumphs and sorrows. Of successes and failures. Of learning experiences and growing opportunities. You can't sit back and expect different results when you're not doing anything to change.'

One is grieving.
One is striving for freedom.
One is lost within himself.
One is pure innocence.

Togther, Hollyn, Jace, Daisy, and Carter support and help guide one another through the Dear Life program while making lifelong lasting relationships. An emotional journey from start to finish, one that will leave your heart bursting with satisfaction, serendipity, and pride- tears streaming down your face. It's raw and a bit real. And holy crapola, Dear Life is nothing short of perfection in this booknerds eyes.  A complex and intricately woven emotional story that will bring you to your knees at times, and so very euphoric with its sexy sizzle and burn. One minute you're a teary wreck, and then all of a sudden you're chuckling and fist bumping the Book God's for bringing this story to life.  This is a book that needs to be read, devoured while savoured.

'Sometimes, as humans, we don't know own hoe to handle the loops of the roller coaster life takes us on, so we silently turn to our vices for support. There is no physical reason to do so, no actual justification for our actions, besides wanting to temporarily dull the ache within our bruised and brittle souls.'

Dear Life is one of the best books I've read this year!

Review: The Randy Romance Novelist

It finally happened, I lost my virginity. Cue applause and cheers.

For a while life was all rainbows and kittens prancing in a sky full of cotton candy clouds…that was until the demands of the real world set in.

My best friend is getting married and she asked me to be her maid of honor. She’s not worried about flowers, or the dress, or the food at the venue. No, she’s worried about the bachelorette party, what kind of penis crown she will wear, and the nipple size of the stripper who will be attending.

I’m in way over my head trying to balance life with a boyfriend, planning a penis party, and writing my romance novel. Something is bound to give.

This is my life after my happily ever after…

*** Warning: The Randy Romance Novelist is over the top, ridiculous, and is meant to make you burst out in laughter. Question the sanity of this author, and welcome over-dramatized comedy into your life. Please proceed if you would like to read about absurd tomfoolery type events, be exposed to the book world and other authors, as well as see that even in the midst of a comical combustion of nonsensical craziness (and naïve characters) love will always prevail. ***

5 Sniff, sniff, kiss, kiss, ways to love your little miss Stars

SQUEEEE! Book fairies ARE real!! And they've answered my book whore prayers! I was beyond excited when I found out we'd be getting more of Rosie & Henry's bogus adventure into relationshipland. OHmyGaaaaawd!! More sweet, innocent, insecure, klutzy, naive, Rosie AND her hot as hell, perfectly tailored suit wearing, man-meat boy friend, HENRY!!!

Meghan's uniquely quirky, over the top writing brought out a new "emotion" in me. Yep. The Ugly Laugh. The polar opposite of the dreaded Ugly Cry.  In convulsing fits of almost silent but wheezy, gasping for air laughter coupled with an onset of uncontrollable "happy laugh" tears. It's the sort of gawd awful noises that drag your husband out of his gamer life haze as he's concerned you might actually be dying... which of course only made the hysteria worse. BTW, you look just as ugly laughing as you would ugly crying. It's not pretty. This emotional phenomenon has only happened while reading Meghan's quirky, sometimes crude but hilarious works of prose! Her books are so easy to get lost in and devour. I could read books about Rosie & Henry forever and ever.
Let the book hangover ensue.

If you don't laugh while reading this one... well then, there's something seriously wrong with you. The Randy Romance Novelist is just as ugly laugh inducing as it's predecessor, The Virgin Romance Novelist. Seriously. Hello, Marta?!?!! Yeaaaah! lol
I did the dirty. I performed the sexuals. I horizontally twerked it.

From page one I was immediately drawn back into their little life, like no time had passed. That to me is the sign of an awesome storyline. TRRN is about the ups and downs of a real life relationship. Although she be randy, she's still niave! With returning characters, re-enactments, twists and turns- ones that make you go hmmmmmm. This book will make the toughest resting bitch face crack.

Forever the romantic, in a fornication fog Rosie will always chase that Happily Ever After.
'Her smile, those lips, her eyes, her genuine and innocent heart, her tenacity, and her beautiful soul. I not only wanted them to be a part of me, I needed them in my life to breathe.'

Oh. My. Mother effin' SWOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: The Mother Road by Meghan Quinn

Never in a million years would I have pictured myself as an axe-wielding, dragon lady, chopping up multi-colored flannel shirts into my very own plaid mulch. But here I am, chopping away my frustrations.

It all started when my brother, Paul, convinced me to go on one last family road trip across the Mother Road with him and my dad.. Just like old times, right? Wrong. What Paul fails to mention is his best man, Porter, will be joining us, who just so happens to be my childhood crush and the man who broke my heart four years ago.

What is supposed to be a fun, family bonding experience across Route 66 turns into a war of pranks, awkward moments and bathrooms full of dirty flannel shirts and day old beard clippings. Paul’s know-it-all attitude and Porter’s devilish charm brings me to the brink of my sanity on my seven day trek across the United States with three bearded men in a small 1980’s RV.

5 "I'm Her's" swoony hearts.

Like the unabashed cover whore that I am, I was instantly drawn to this book; much like a moth to a flame. So quirky and fun, yet so simplistic. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!  Aaaand when you love a cover that much, why read the synopsis? Going in blind is my

Ok, seriously though...Meghan Quinn is quickly becoming one of those "go to" authors for me. She's utterly ridiculous! And by that, I mean ridiculously talented! Especially when it comes to over the top, piss your pants, rude, crude and hilarious storytelling. *bows to the Queen*...we're not worthy, we're sooo not worthy! So thanks and boob squeezes for sharing this jem with us! The girl can write one heck of a book, with relate-able and realistic events and characters that you love and want to choke at the same time. I felt like I was tagging along on this adventure across Route 66.

The Mother Road is so much more than just an epic journey across Route 66 with 3 stinky bearded men in search of "The Mother of all Hot Dogs" It's the McMann Clan's last family road trip in Tacy to fulfill their late mother's last planned adventure before Princess Paul ties the knot. *snickers* That man is something else!

Road trip shenanigans, beard clippings, human excrement, pranks, hi-jinks and traditions will test Marley to the axe wielding breaking point...and then there's Porter Smith, he's Paul's BFF, best man and the breaker of Marley's heart. But good gawd I love him, as does Marley. The man has such strong swoon factor that your eyes won't be the only thing that gets wet while reading. *wink* The sexual tension between these two is off the charts! Can Marley get over the past and let him back in.. or has that ship sailed?

I laughed
I cried
I swooned
I melted into a mushy pile of goo
I wanted to eat funyuns...whatever they are LOL
I wanted to kick Porter in the balls, then make them feel better...oh yes, yes I did!

And Tacy, God love her rusty soul. Girl looks like she's been rode hard (this trip) and put away wet.

If you're looking for a hilarious, swoony, heartwarming and slightly disgusting at times, laugh out loud story, then look no further.
The Mother Road is your girl ;)

3.5 Cannolied Pimp Hands

Meghan Quinn had a writing style that I adore. It's fun, flirty, vibrant, packed with laugh out loud moments and no matter how amusing her books are they always pack substance. All.The.Feels.

Newly Exposed is a quirky, fun and sexy read with an original story line. I couldn't help but fall a little in love with Adam and Solo. They are a perfect match made in nerd heaven.

With Just-in beavers and lady gardens in need of landscaping, a strong pimp hand, dick bras and well endowed donuts-- you can't help but bust out laughing!! And oh my my! Who wouldn't want to be cannolied?! Hawt dayum! Sign a girl up!

"God, I love when you talk nerdy to me."
All the nerdy talk was cute at first but unfortunately I came to find it all slightly overwhelming and lackluster. And since I'm not a fan of star wars, that was lost on me and I found myself losing interest at times.

Overall I liked this story and can't wait to see what Meghan has in store for us with this Modelicious Series.

cooltext128330139012723 (1)

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
