I finished reading this book last night and have been debating on how exactly to review it without giving a single thing away, let me tell you why…….
I started reading this book the night before last and finished reading it last night. For me, the story started out really drawing me in. I really wanted to immerse myself in this story and its characters and see where it was going to take me. However at a little less than half way in I started to feel like the story was dragging a bit and honestly I became a little bored with it. BUT there was still a part of me that couldn’t let it go and that part also needed to know what was going to happen to these characters. So…..guess what I did? I was so so bad, I went on line and started reading the reviews hoping that I could get a glimpse at what the climax of the story was going to be. I know, I know that I shouldn’t have done that but you see a part of me was still drawn to this book, I couldn’t just stop reading. Needless to say, I couldn’t get the answers that I wanted through reading the reviews (thank goodness that reviewers know how to write spoil free reviews!) At that point I decided to suck it up, stick it out, settle in for the long haul and finish reading it and I am certainly glad that I did.
I of course will not be giving any spoilers in this review either but just know that the story here that was written is simply amazing there really is no other word for it. Even now when I think back on it, it still makes me think. It definitely turned out to be one of those stories that would make me ask myself some questions. This book is truly about loving someone so much that you would do anything for them, believe anything for them and it also takes you on a heartfelt journey about finding the strength and courage to move on once you have lost the love of your life.
So…. to sum things up, I am glad that I stuck with reading it. It really would have bothered me later to find out what happened and not have been able to experience it myself. And although there are parts of the book that I would have liked to see move along a little faster this really was an amazing, amazing love story and unlike any other that I have read before.
