Review: Confessions of a Carpool Captive by Dawn L. Chiletz

My name is Liz Foley. I love my accounting job because I’d rather deal with numbers than talk to people.

My best traits:
I have (RBF) Resting Bitch Face.
I give snarky come-backs.
I have no friends.

My worst traits:
I speak in run-on sentences when I get nervous.
I’m attracted to assholes.
I’m broke.

Enter Finnigan Walsh – the new guy at work.

His best traits:
He’s kind of hot, I suppose.
He has a working car.
He sings to me and brings me coffee.
Nothing ever gets to him, even when I add more people to our carpool.

His worst traits:
See above

I don’t like him. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.
After all, it’s not about how fast you get there. It’s the journey. Right?
Damn this carpool.

You’d better buckle up.

Wow! Wow! WOW!!

Confessions of a Carpool Captive sucked me into it fictional vortex at an alarming speed! There was no choice in the matter, this is a book that will make you devour it! GAH! I couldn't read it fast enough. And yeah I was totally this books bitch, and I loved every second of it!

*dreamy sigh*
Literary highs are the best!

Liz Foley and Finn Wash are a smorgasbord of two peas in a pod who couldn't be any more alike and different at the same time. They are essentially, unconventionally one and the same... but not.

As a first time reader of Chiletz, I'm blown away, figuratively speechless. In sheer, utter, awe. Sold on her style and brand do humour and storytelling I cannot wait to devour her back list. Confessions of a Carpool Captive turned me into a swoony puddle of lustful goo.

From the first page, to the tap of the very last, this storyline and it's characters took me on a rollercoaster ride of a life time. With the perfect mix of humour, life lessons and finding oneself, it was the true definition of a journey. It's the fully loaded meal deal of romantic comedies, chock full of humour, witty banter, stolen moments, a delicious slow burn that had me experiencing All. Of. The. Feels. Holy! Crap! The torturous, sexually charged game of push and pull that Liz & Finn have going on, although resistance is futile. Checkmate! You win my heart!

Every single character played a significant role in the telling of this unique storyline, adding flare, food for thought and aiding in the whole experience, making it one of the most well rounded and written books I've read as of late.

Confessions of a Carpool Captive did not disappoint!! A top read of 2017!
