Review: Love Me In the Dark by Mia Asher

Two strangers in Paris ...
One passionate, earth-shattering kiss.

He was the artist upstairs
with the tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.

He was the devil inviting me to sin,
seducing me to dance in the bright moonlight.

He was desire and need.

When he touched me, my body sang.
My soul came alive.

But I belonged to another man,
and he didn't want to let me go.

4 'I am lost and found in his sweet embrace.' Stars

Intense, primal, and raw! Mia Asher delivers a beautiful, poetic work of prose that will ultimately own you; body, mind, and soul. There's an ethereal essence to this story line, one so delicate yet poignant in delivery. Awe inspiring.

'Le vie est une fleur don't l'amour est le miel.

Love Me In The Dark will set your senses, and emotions ablaze with Mia's heady combination of characters and angst. Afterall, Mia Asher is one of my go to angst and love triangle queens.

'We get lost in a moment that takes us to a place where the past and future are urrelevant --they don't exist. And it feels a little like falling. A lot like flying. Crashing to the ground. Dancing in the clouds. A cage and an open sky. The light of a thousand lamps illuminating the dark sky.'

Valentina, S├ębastien, and William... God, I don't even know where to begin beside the fact that the aforementioned had me on the edge of my seat for the greater majority of the book. The push and pull, right from wrong, lust, regret, shame, hate, and despair, made for one heck of a rollercoaster ride.. GAH! Armed with unexpected twists and turns, this book continuously became more addictive with every flip/tap of the page. I loved each character, flaws, baggage, all of it. I also disliked this trio at times. Their actions will frustrate you, make you want to throw the book at a wall all while getting frisky and caught up in those heated moments between current and new lovers.

'He builds a church with his body in mine, making a sinner and a believer out of me while quieting my demons. Restraint gone, he shoots us intonthr stars until we reach the heavens and beyond. And when we fall and crash, we are reborn on the sheets of this bed.'

You can't go wrong by picking up this highly anticipated read of 2017!
