Review: Sweetest Venom by Mia Asher

Ronan
I fell in love with a lie …
She was beauty and destruction.
Kissing her was a tender song.
Fucking her, a wild poem.
Loving her, my downfall.
But she was mine.
Or so I thought.

Lawrence
I told her I wanted her body
and not her love.
I lied.

Blaire
One man offered me his love.
The other, the world.
I’m falling, falling, falling …
And there’s no end in sight.

Let me start this review by saying that I have been waiting a loooooong time for this book to be released. Now, after I have finished reading it, I have to admit, it was worth every.. single.. day..that I had to wait to get my hands on it. Author Mia Asher really did an exceptional job at writing this second book to Easy Virtue. I didn’t think it was possible for her to exceed my expectations any more than she had in Easy Virtue but she sure as hell surpassed all my expectations with Sweetest Venom!

Once I started this book I couldn’t get enough of Blaire's, Lawrence’s and Ronan’s twisted little love story. It pulled me in right from the first page and it had my stomach in knots right up until the very last word. My heart ached pretty much the whole book. The angst is off the charts. My head was spinning and I didn’t know which way was up at times. My emotions were all over the place. I couldn’t even decide who I loved more or who I wanted Blaire to end up with. It was so agonizing AND I must admit I totally loved every minute of it!

If you are looking for an answer in this review as to how things turn out, you won’t get it. I am totally keeping mum. This one is just one that you will have to experience for yourself. Go in blind it will be so much better if you do. I will end this review with this statement though: I absolutely loved Sweetest Venom, the story, the characters, the writing ALL of it is just flawless. Mia Asher you are the angst queen!
