Review: Forbidden by Lauren Smith

Kat has always been a good girl. She studies hard and never stays out too late. But when sitting in a pub on her birthday, she realizes she's a nineteen-year-old virgin who's never really lived. And she wants tonight to be the night that changes.

Then she sees him walk in. He's tall, dark, handsome, and straight out of her deepest fantasies. His voice makes her knees feel weak, and when he smiles, she imagines him doing wicked things to her in bed. From the look in his eyes, she knows he's imagining it too. So when he asks if he can walk her home, she hears herself whisper yes . . .

Forbidden, come on, with a name like that of course I wanted to read it! Did I also mention the hotty on the cover? WHOA!

I really enjoyed the way this story started out. A shy, young inexperienced student out celebrating her birthday and decides to do something wild, like…..kiss a stranger. That stranger turns out to be a very hot, well known bad boy with a reputation for bedding lots of different women….yes give me more please!

I liked the writing, I thought the Author did a great job at telling the story and it flowed really well. I did feel as though the story was a little rushed and I would have liked to have had more time to form more of a connection with the characters but unfortunately I struggled with that.

All in all I thought this was a good storyline. I did finish reading it all the way through and I am looking forward to the next book to see what will happen next for these two characters.
