Review: The Score by Elle Kennedy

He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Dean, Dean, Dean. Dean Di Laurentis…he is one cocky, foul mouthed, man whoring, dirty talking hockey player. Yep that about sums him up! Some of the things that came out of his mouth were downright hilarious while others were sometimes hot as hell.

Allie (Allie- Cat) is a repressed good girl that gets in touch with her wild side after a hard breakup from a long term relationship. This wild side ends up colliding with Dean one night and let me tell you, sparks definitely ignite a flame.

This story has some hot sex in it. The characters back and forth pull and banter with each other is very amusing. I loved it! This was a great hot little read with a bit of drama and heartbreak in it but mostly funny, enticing and very entertaining.

5 Little Dean "stars" ;)

As a HUGE fan of the Off Campus Series, I couldn't wait to get my filthy little book whoreish hands on The Score! To be honest, I wasn't huge on Dean from the few glimpses of his character in the previous two books. BUT this series is SOOOOOO addictive and one of my top favourites...so... I had to give Dean a chance, right? And thank god I did! Because O.M.G! I love Dean! Little Dean, Big Dean, ALL.THE.DEANS that make up this complicated, mislabeled, sexy and swoony as hell man!

It felt like I took forever to get through this book, but it's not what you're thinking. I actually devoured it in a night. There were so many times I had to stop reading. The banter was killing me! In hysterics laughing to the point of crying and getting hiccups!!!! Twilight, imprinted pussy and Winston just about wrecked me LOL!! THEN OMG!!! All the swoony scenes I had to reread over and over and over aaaaaaaaaaaaand over again! ...cue the bedroom entrance scene, where all Dean says is "Baby." Hello, butterflies!! aaaand Swooooooooooooon! I seriously thought my face was going to break from the goofy grin I had plastered on throughout most of the book.

Watching the "King of casual hookups" fall in L.O.V.E with the most unlikely suitor was just... I can't even! It was perfect! Every single thing about this book. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect! The ups, downs and learning experiences of life and relationships were spot on!

Elle Kennedy definitely scored a hat-trick with the addition of this installment to the series!

Well hot damn I really didn't think Elle could top The Deal.... The off campus series is one of my all time favorite! But she did!! The Score was fanfreakingtastic!

Dean the man whore finally falls in love with the one woman who isn't trying to fall in love with him! Ms. Relationship Allie decides to have a little "fun" for once in her life and things get complicated... This book sucked me in from the first page and didn't let me go! I loved every minute of it except the minutes I had to put it down and do real life stuff like work....

There were times in this book when I had tears running down my face from laughing (ie Winston) and there were times my heart was in my throat about to cry... This book was seriously the perfect combination of humor, swoon, heart melt and heart break.

I loved every character and every scene and I hope Elle never stops writing! Everyone needs to read this phenomenal book! I have just one word for you TUCKER... We can only hope!
