Review: Forbid Me by M. Robinson

It was only a matter of time until the truth came out.
I never thought it would come to this…
I tried, God knows I tried to stay away from her but eventually I crossed that line and broke that trust. I could no longer go back and I sure as fuck didn’t regret a single moment of it. I knew there would be hell to pay, I knew the wrath I’d be facing but I would willingly take the burns and scars just to have the love of my best friend's sister.
If there is one person I’d willingly go to hell and back for it was…

Well M. Robinson outdid herself again!!!! Forbid Me sucked me in from the very start. When I had to put it down to do real life work I became irritable. I love me some forbidden romance and M apparently is a master!! It was an emotional rollercoaster from the beginning to the end. This is the second book in this series of standalones but I highly recommend reading Complicate Me first. You will not be disappointed because it is also fabulous!

Forbid Me is the story of Jacob and Lucas' little sister Lily. Jacob has been in love with Lily for as long as he can remember and the feeling is mutual. There is only a couple problems with that, he is 7 years older than her and Lucas would KILL him. Even though he tries Jacob can not stay away from her, he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

Lily has been head over heels in love with Jacob since she could walk... She knows he loves her too but he is so scared of Lucas and the age difference that he keeps advertently breaking her heart. When he shows back up claiming his love for her after he disappeared for 3 years leaving her a blubbering mess, will it be to late??? Can Lily find it in her soul to trust him and give him heart????

I loved how this book switched from past to present in dual POV so you got the entire back story and all the angst and feels from both characters. Lily is a stubborn witty little spitfire who has met her match in the stubborn department because apparently what Jacob wants Jacob gets!

And HOLY HELL the last paragraph in this book!!!! I cannot wait til spring to get Dylan's story!!! I'm hooked already and will be stalking M like a mad woman!!!!
