Lussuria is Ms. Molloy's debut novel and I must say it was pretty good once I got into it.  I do have to say that I had a hard time with the start of the book, because the beginning confused me going from the prologue to chapter one.  I'm not sure why, but I didn't realize it was Lexi speaking at the start of the chapter.  However, once I figured it out, things clicked and the story became quite good.
Twenty-six year old Alexis Robertson (Lexi) had a very troubled past and doesn't trust anyone but her best friend, Hazel, and her brother, Cameron.  She has rules that she sticks to and never strays from them, that is until she meets a certain someone who walks into her new clinic.  She tries to stick to her rules, but when he shows up in Italy at the place she is vacationing, she finds it hard to keep the distance.  She has feelings she's never felt before and she's not sure if she likes those feelings or not.
Lucca Caruso (32) walked into Lexi's clinic with back pain, however the minute he saw Lexi he felt some kind of connection and definitely an attraction.  He tried flirting and asking her out, but he was kicked to the curb after she checked his back out.  Lucca was quite shocked when he saw her at his grandparents villa in Italy.  He knew it was fate and he vowed to get closer to her.
Lussuria is a very descriptive book, actually it was a little too descriptive for me sometimes.  I definitely pictured everything that was happening.  Some parts seemed a little rushed, but it was still a very good romantic story with some angst, excitement and steamy scenes.  There were many heart breaking moments where I really felt for Lexi.  Her past was dreadfully awful.
Will Lexi be able to open up and let Lucca all the way in by telling him about her past?  One click Lussuria to find out.
Thank you SJ Molloy for a beautiful, steamy love story.  I quite enjoyed it.  I'm very much looking forward to what you may have next in store for Lexi & Lucca.
